A workshop was conducted in collaboration between Nagoya Institute of Technology and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) under the theme "Considering the Needs of Mobility Society in 2035 from an HX Perspective."

Practicing HX

DENSO, in its vision for 2035, has declared the aim to achieve a sustainable happiness society by responding to diverse values and senses of happiness while maintaining social activities. Based on this vision, the Design Department has incorporated the HX (Human Experience) perspective, which extends thinking beyond just the users to the experiences of various stakeholders.

We aim to promote this concept to a wide range of audiences and strive for improvement by collaborating with different generations and fields. As part of this effort, we conducted an industry-academia collaboration workshop with Nagoya Institute of Technology and Nanyang Technological University under the theme "Considering the Needs of Mobility Society in 2035 from an HX Perspective."

At the results presentation, DENSO employees participated in discussions about revitalizing social activities and understanding diversity. Through these activities, participants shared that they "gained insights and awareness from diverse perspectives." Based on the outcomes of this project, we will continue this effort next year, seeking new ideas and solutions to realize a sustainable happiness society.
