Since I first touched a computer at the age of five, I have been fascinated by the latest technology and things that evoke a sense of the future. As a university student, I focused on researching and designing interactions with machines rather than getting a driverʼs license. I had never considered joining the automotive industry, but I felt that this company was the best place to think about the future, so I joined in 2014.
After joining, I was able to work on projects that aligned with my vision of the future, such as the UI for self-driving cars. A few years ago, I shifted my focus from mass production to advanced research on topics such as the UX required for Level 3 autonomous driving, the value of mobility in the VR era, design methods for well-being, and design approaches for the AI era. I have been enjoying my days immensely, with increasing opportunities to engage with academics.
