After changing jobs and being transferred, I’ve joined the Design Department.
It’s my first design role, reached after 16 years of twists and turns since graduating from college.
The pace of technological innovation these days is incredibly fast, and along with it, people’s values and ways of seeing things seem to be changing and diversifying more rapidly than ever before. In that environment, I believe design work—which is about discerning what a product needs and bringing it to life—also requires ever higher levels of sophistication.
I feel like I’ve come to this role at quite a challenging time, but I want to enjoy the situation, keep sharpening my skills every day, and take on the challenge of design in this new era.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with sports cars, camping gear, and tropical fish, and I’m also a cold-water-loving sauna enthusiast.
The thing I want most right now? More muscle.
