Shiori Nishiyama

Joined DENSO in 2026. I originally aspired to become a product designer, but during graduate school I realized how fascinating it is to design not only products themselves, but also the experiences surrounding them. Around the time I began wanting to become a designer who could think more deeply about essential value, I came across DENSO.

As a student, I spent time creating things together with children—thinking, struggling, and exploring ideas alongside them. I was always inspired by their unexpected and free-spirited way of thinking, which I found incredibly interesting.

I hope to continue creating new moments of excitement while holding on to a sense of childlike curiosity myself.

For a long time, I hesitated to step into this field out of fear of failure, but with the mindset that things will work out somehow, I want to keep challenging myself in many different ways.

Weekly dramas and manga are what keep me going.
