I decided to become a designer because I love making people happy with the things I create and ideas I come up with. My major in university was human factors engineering. As a product designer at DENSO, I have worked on mobile phones, automotive meters, and industrial equipment such as robots. I have also designed promotional materials for my creations, including videos, brochures, and exhibitions. I had the opportunity to work in the design department of an overseas automobile company, where I learned about car interior design.
Afterward, I transferred to the public relations department, where I was responsible for rebuilding the DENSO brand. Upon returning to the design department, I have been involved in co-creating and visualizing business strategies with management and various departments, designing visions that form the foundation of these strategies, conducting research to concretize these visions, and designing business brands to promote and implement these strategies effectively. This means I now work in the higher-level design phase of "designing what to design."
No matter what I am designing, I take joy and motivation from hearing people say "I like it!" about my designs, and today, I continue to design something new.
