Barcode Scanner GT-10B2003
A gun-grip barcode scanner that reads barcodes from a distance.
The goal was functional beauty as a tool for the logistics professional, possessing both accuracy and toughness. Using a model gun, grip form and angle, as well as trigger configuration and weight balance, were analyzed for easy aiming at the target. Recognition of barcode reading confirmation was improved by inclining the confirmation light in the direction of the line of sight. The target was a user-friendly design for the entire work process, considering motions apart from the scanning operation, such as when putting down or picking up from tables.
