Hiroki Jonen

My name is Hiroki Jonen, and I joined the company in 2025.

Ever since I was a child, I often played with handmade toys, and at some point, I vaguely began to dream about turning that playful creativity into a career. That desire eventually led me to pursue a path as a designer.

During my student years, I had the opportunity to work on creative projects with people from diverse backgrounds, making for an exciting and stimulating time. I dabbled in various design fields, taking on projects such as designing the interior of a vintage clothing store, organizing a workshop in Okayama (where we released peach-shaped floats into irrigation canals to study waste flow), and compiling a book introducing handcrafted tools made by factory artisans.

These diverse experiences deepened my interest in designing products that play a behind-the-scenes yet essential role in supporting people's daily lives. That is what inspired me to join DENSO.

I know I still have a long way to go, but I am determined to do my best and grow into a capable designer who delivers meaningful work.
