Born in Beppu, Oita Prefecture, I was captivated by the NHK program "The Human Body," which inspired me to pursue biological research at the University of Tsukuba for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. However, I realized that my true motivation lay in creating things and connecting with people through drawing. This led me to consider a career as a designer. Following the advice of a professor specializing in art, I enrolled in the evening program at Kuwasawa Design School. My days were filled with working at a design office during the day, attending classes at night, and working on assignments after returning home.
After graduating, I joined a design agency in Tokyo, where I worked as a graphic designer for seven years. Through working with a national client, I became fascinated with growing a brand from the business side. This newfound interest led me to join DENSO in September 2015.
I strive to create designs that bring a little joy and positivity to the people who experience them and those involved in the design process.
