Toshifumi Mori

I believe that the curiosity that drives me was nurtured by my hometown of Nagasaki, with its rich history, nature, and exotic atmosphere. I have a habit of "drawing to understand" things that catch my interest or that I like, and I still continue the practice of drawing pictures of nearby plants and animals.

I also love traveling. The joy of encountering unknown things has led me to visit all 47 prefectures of Japan, and I am now on my second round. Globally, I have visited 22 countries and still have many more to explore. Through my travels, I have come to realize that seemingly simple desires, like wanting to see beautiful landscapes, eat delicious food, and travel safely, are all part of a larger interconnected cycle. In my work, I aim to be mindful of these connections and design while staying connected with everyone.
