The test equipment detects various viruses, including novel coronaviruses, and biomarkers.
With an eye on realizing future infection control measures regionally, such as at family hospitals, functionality and imaging were created that enable anyone to easily use the rapid and highly sensitive inspection technology uniquely developed by DENSO. The design issue was conveying the ability to apply researchersʼ ideas flexibly for applications for new infectious diseases and other industries as a vision.
The layout eliminates work limited to dedicated technicians and the joint use of other equipment, such as pipetting and centrifugal machines, and lines up the necessary reagents only, which makes the inspection process easy to understand. Furthermore, enabling easy changes of reagent types and orders and making the treatment process always visible realized a platform for safe trial-and-error work.
