Mobile Storage Battery2011

This is a mid-capacity lithium-ion battery that prioritizes transportability.

The battery can be charged from household electricity or a carʼs cigar lighter socket and used as an emergency power source on site. Implementing a rapid process from planning to the design stage, the development was launched to respond to the power demand for reconstruction and other activities at areas where the infrastructure was damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake. It protects peopleʼs lifelines by quickly providing electric power in emergencies.
