I studied Information Design and Media Art at Tama Art University. After that, I moved to Berlin, Germany, where I was deeply influenced by works in the FAB culture and bio-art. As a research associate within the artistic research framework BCL and at Waseda Universityʼs School of Science and Engineering, I created works based on speculative design in collaboration with researchers in the field of biology. In 2015, I organized a special exhibition called "Ghost in the Cell: Spirits within Cells" at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, showcasing biological works.
In my previous job, I worked as a visual designer and producer at Hakosco, a startup originating from RIKEN, and at the visual design studio WOW. I was involved in a wide range of visual expressions in advertising, from TV commercials and concept videos to installations in various spaces. I am continuously striving to apply the skills and creativity I have acquired through my studies in art and design to vision design, with the aim of benefiting society.
