Satomi Hosokawa
I have mainly been responsible for designing in-vehicle products, gaining extensive experience from early proposals to mass production development. In recent years, the scope of design has expanded, and while I sometimes feel uncertain, Iʼve increasingly found that no matter the job, my past experiences, big or small, have come to my rescue. Iʼve come to realize that every experience becomes a tool in my arsenal, and there truly may be no such thing as a wasted experience in life. Even in my personal life, when I recently built a model of a castle for the first time, memories of sprinkling grass onto a preschool architectural model I made during my student days came back to me, allowing me to beautifully add grass to the castle model. Although Iʼm not great at organizing, I want to keep adding more tools to my toolbox and continue enjoying design.
